BELISARIO

This month we read the story “Belisario” in Spanish class.
We really enjoyed this story and we are learning important values from it, values such as fairness and respect. In class we made Belisario puppets using plates, paint and black cardboard.

Look at the result; they are awesome, aren’t they?

 Great work raccoons!

“MY SUPERHERO IS MY DAD”

Last week we celebrated Fathers’s Day at St. George’s College.

Our raccoons had the opportunity to sing and dance for their dads. This time all raccoons dressed up as “Spiderman” performed on stage the song “Black or White”, cover version of Glee. It’s just amazing how well they did it on stage, congratulations my raccoons!!
Hope you have a wonderful Father’s Day enjoying with you families.
Take a look at some pictures from that day.

QUEEN’S 60 DIAMOND JUBILEE

On June 4th we celebrate the “Queen’s 60 Diamond Jubilee”.

In raccoons we were really excited about this celebration. The kids learnt about Queen Elizabeth and got the chance to watch some pictures and videos about her. Then, we did a craft activity that we took home last Friday.

 God Save The Queen!

AWESOME ANIMALS

Last Thursday 31st of May we had our field trip to “Parque de las Leyendas”.

It was amazing how the raccoons enjoyed this trip. We could see Peruvian animals like the guanacos, the macaws and the cock of the rocks; but the animals we liked the most were the lion, the tigers and the sea lions.  We returned to school really happy to have seen such wonderful animals!

These are some pictures for this trip. Enjoy them!
